The question is… do you need a skincare fridge?

Let’s see! Have you been seeing all the shelfies on Instagram? Or hearing your friends rave about the super satisfying feeling of applying a cold sheet mask or eye cream on their face after a long day? Well, you’re definitely not alone; we’ve been hearing all about them too! And we must say, we are completely OBSESSED! But of course, we’re all curious—is it really worth it? What are the benefits? Do we really need this? Hmmm. 🤔 Well, if you’re also a curious skincare junkie then read on to learn more and find out. 😉

So, what is a skincare fridge?

It’s pretty much what it sounds like—a special place, a sanctuary, a little home for your beloved skincare products! Oh, and did you know that keeping certain products in the fridge can extend its shelf life? Not to mention, it also enhances your skincare experience tremendously.

Why is it worth it?

Did you know some skincare products are temperature sensitive? Yup, it’s true! For example, formulas with vitamin C, retinol or benzoyl peroxide should be stored in cooler areas to ensure that the products are still effective and last longer.

Need we say more? Store your sheet masks in a fridge and once you place it on your skin… whoo, you won’t regret it! The cooling sensation will leave you in utter bliss, especially after a long and stressful day. Just imagine yourself in a spa and relax while the lower temperature makes your skin feel revitalized to the max. (Do you feel content or what?! 😌)

Imagine this: you wake up in the morning and you feel sleepy, groggy and well, just kind of bleh (we know it happens, trust us). You get ready for the day—brushing your teeth, combing through your hair, making coffee—then you think about that eye mask that you put in the fridge two nights ago.
