Now without further ado, here are the right ways to apply your pimple patches:
1. After Cleansing, Before The Rest of Your Skincare
We’ve been guilty of applying pimple patches as the last step in our skincare but it turns out, that’s not the best way! Apply the patch to your pimple after you’re done cleansing. Pimples should be clean and dry before applying a patch. Treat it like a wound that needs a bandaid. Plus, applying it to clean, dry skin will make sure it sticks better too!
2. As a Second Patch
When we use a pimple patch and it successfully sucks out the gunk, most times it will leave an open pore. Never leave this open! Apply a second patch over the pore to let it heal and close up before any more bacteria comes in to fill it up. Sometimes it will even extract more gunk that was hidden under the surface!
Another reason to apply a second patch on the pimple is that sometimes, one patch is not enough to pull out the gunk. It may take two to completely extract your pimple.
3. Not Just For White-Centered Pimples
The best pimples to apply patches to are the ones that have a white center and look like they’re about to erupt! But you can also apply pimple patches to other pimples that don’t have it too.
This will keep your red bumps from further bacteria from our hands or any other surface that comes into contact.
Pimples can be frustrating and it takes some patience and some pimple patches to help them heal in a clean and safe way. Remember to never force your pimples to pop and keep the mentioned tips in mind when using pimple patches. Thanks for reading!
